How Long do I want to Keep Doing This?

Wednesday, August 22, 2012

That's the question mon husband keeps asking me about submitting my jewelry to Jewelry Affaire magazine.

I was thrilled, once again, to have some of my jewelry published in the Summer 2012 issue of Jewelry Affaire magazine.

Answer:  As long as it gives me a challenge.  It will always be doubt about it.  If some of my designs to not make it to the pages of Jewelry Affaire, it will become an even greater challenge for me.

Please enjoy all the beautiful designs in the Summer 2012 issue that so many artists have chosen to share with you!

Until then............Happy Beading!

I'm signing up to follow you today, LOVE your work in Jewelry Affaire! This is one of my FAV jewelry magazine I do mostly beadweaving but am looking to try some stringing & using more rhinestones, I love the sparkle! Tell me where do you get your inspiration & what do you do to get yourself out of a slump? Keep up the lovely work & I look forward to following your blog :)

Erika, I am so happy to have you as a subscriber...thank you.

My inspiration.....comes from my jewelry making friends, from magazines, from my love of anything French, from my love of the Oregon coast, and from happy accidents (we all of those, don't we?).

I've experienced slumps and I usually focus on another interest until I feel I can go back to enjoying my beads, wire, tools, and my costume/vintage bits and pieces.

Would love to see your beadweaving DO you create with all those little beads?

Congratulations! So happy to hear your creations made it into the magazine. It's no surprise though; you're amazingly talented. :)
